Job Details
  • Working days are Monday, Tuesday and Friday;

  • Hours of 7am to 3:30pm, 8am to 4:30pm or similar;

  • Port Melbourne location with free street parking available;

  • Very supportive and easy-going team; and

  • Full payroll training provided.

Having had a partnership with this client for over 15 years, I am very excited to be able to give one person the opportunity to join this wonderful team in this newly created role.
 
No payroll experience? That’s completely fine.

All we need is your fabulous attitude and a willingness to learn, and the provided training will have you a payroll expert in no time. 
 
Working within the Construction/Trade space, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Reviewing, entering and processing pays for approximately 100 employees;

  • Allocating pay costings to projects;

  • Leave calculations;

  • Investigating discrepancies;

  • Petty cash balancing;

  • Administrative support to the National Manager;

  • Database management;

  • Liaising with teams both on and off site;

  • Filing and archiving;

  • Spreadsheet management; and

  • Use of Definitiv and SIMPRO – training provided.

To be considered for this position, we are seeking:

  • Some administration experience, including data entry and working with numbers;

  • A genuine interest in learning payroll;

  • The ability to work Monday, Tuesday and Friday in the Port Melbourne office;

  • A friendly, team-focused attitude; and

  • Proven ability to meet daily and weekly deadlines.
