**About the Role
**
In this fast-paced payroll position, you’ll be responsible for delivering accurate, timely end-to-end payroll services within a high-volume, service-driven environment. Working as part of a supportive and collaborative team, you’ll handle a wide range of payroll tasks, resolve queries, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the payroll function. This role offers fantastic exposure, professional development and the chance to grow your technical capability within a large, complex environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process high-volume payroll accurately and in line with relevant legislation and internal SLAs;
Complete reconciliations, reporting, month-end tasks and payroll-related payments;
Respond to payroll queries via phone, email and support systems with strong customer service;
Assist with reviewing data, maintaining records and ensuring overall payroll data integrity;
Support continuous improvement projects, testing and system updates as required; and
Work closely with team members and stakeholders to ensure smooth and efficient payroll delivery.
About You
2+ years’ experience in payroll processing, ideally in a medium–large environment;
Strong understanding of payroll legislation, awards or enterprise agreements;
Excellent communication skills and a proactive, customer-focused mindset;
Ability to plan, prioritise and meet deadlines in a busy, changing environment;
Confidence working with payroll systems and intermediate MS Excel skills; and
A willingness to learn, adapt and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
