About our client:

u&u are supporting our client that is a prominent architechure company with a diverse portfolio. The company is expanding with established operations across Queensland.

How you will contribute:

As the Payroll Officer, the primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll for a medium volume of payroll.

  • Proven experience in a payroll position;

  • Confident using payroll systems such as e.g. Chris21, Preceda, Aurion, MicrOpay, etc;

  • Knowledge of Fair Work legislation, modern awards, and enterprise agreements;

  • High attention to detail and excellent communication skills; and

  • Ability to hit the ground running with minimal supervision.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in medium volume end to end payroll on a weekly and monthly payment processing;

  • Managing payroll inbox and handle payroll queries;

  • Handle new starter & termination payments;

  • Assist with month-end & year-end tasks;

  • Improve and implement payroll processes; and

  • Maintain payroll compliance and admin.
