About our Client:

Our client is a large and well-established organisation with a diverse workforce and operations across Australia.

They are currently looking to appoint a Payroll Officers to join their Springfield-based team, reporting directly to the National Payroll Manager.

You’ll be joining an established payroll function supporting a large 24/7 workforce across multiple awards. The team is focused on maintaining a high level of accuracy, compliance and governance, while also continuing to improve processes and introduce greater automation across the payroll function.

How you will contribute:

  • Process fortnightly and monthly payroll;

  • Manage payroll data, new employees and adjustments;

  • Maintain accurate employee records;

  • Check hours, pay rates and entitlements;

  • Resolve payroll queries and discrepancies; and

  • Support compliance and the wider payroll team.

What we’re looking for:

  • 12+ months’ payroll or payroll administration experience;

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy;

  • Good data entry and payroll administration skills;

  • Basic understanding of payroll compliance;

  • Strong communication and time management skills; and

  • Team-focused attitude and willingness to learn.
