  • Ensure systems are maintained in a compliant, controlled and audit-ready state;

  • Support releases, upgrades, configuration changes and business continuity activities;

  • Partner with Payroll, HR, IT and business stakeholders to optimise processes and system usage;

  • Monitor performance metrics and service trends to drive continuous improvement;

  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team across operational and technical capabilities;

  • Manage annual payroll system activities including year-end processing, legislative updates and audit readiness; and

  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, vendors and external partners.

About You

You are a strong operational leader with a background in payroll systems or HRIS environments, comfortable working in complex organisations with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience leading payroll, HRIS or enterprise systems support teams;

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle, Kronos and/or SAP environments;

  • Experience managing BAU support, testing coordination and business-critical issue resolution;

  • Deep understanding of payroll processes, controls and compliance requirements;

  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills;

  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong analytical capability; and

  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, build capability and drive performance.

Why Apply?

  • Lead a critical function within a large, complex environment;

  • Drive meaningful improvements across systems, processes and service delivery;
