We're partnering with a client based in Melbourne's eastern suburbs to recruit a PMO Governance Lead to join their enterprise PMO on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Head of PMO, you'll play a key role in enhancing governance frameworks, optimising PMO systems and providing meaningful portfolio insights across a range of strategic initiatives.

Offering hybrid working, a strong salary and additional benefits, this is an excellent opportunity to influence PMO capability within a collaborative, enterprise environment.

About the Role:

Working closely with senior leaders and Project Managers, you'll help drive governance excellence, reporting consistency and continuous improvement across the PMO.

You will:

  • Lead and improve PMO governance frameworks, standards and reporting;

  • Own the administration and optimisation of Smartsheet and PMO systems;

  • Develop executive dashboards and portfolio reporting;

  • Monitor governance compliance, project quality and data integrity;

  • Coach Project Managers on governance and reporting best practice; and

  • Drive continuous improvement across PMO processes, templates and tools.

About You:

You're an experienced PMO professional with strong governance expertise and the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.

You'll bring:

  • Experience in a PMO Lead, PMO Governance, Senior PMO Analyst or similar role;

  • Strong knowledge of PMO governance, portfolio reporting and project assurance;

  • Advanced Smartsheet experience and strong reporting capability (Power BI exposure desirable);

  • Experience developing executive reporting and portfolio dashboards;

  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills; and

  • PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent project management certification (desirable).

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys improving governance, building PMO capability and making a genuine impact across enterprise project delivery.
