About the Company

Our client is a well-established private sector organisation embarking on an exciting transformation of its procurement function. With a strong focus on governance, innovation and continuous improvement, the team is investing in new ways of working and modern procurement practices to better support the business.

This is an opportunity to join a collaborative environment where your ideas and expertise will directly influence the future operating model and procurement capability of the organisation.

The Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Procurement Business Partners and Procurement Specialists to join a growing team during a pivotal period of change. Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a key role in supporting procurement transformation initiatives, uplifting governance frameworks and partnering with stakeholders across the organisation.

This is an ideal opportunity for professionals who enjoy building capability, improving processes and working in environments where they can make a genuine impact.

Key responsibilities Include

  • Partner with stakeholders to provide strategic procurement advice and guidance;

  • Develop and uplift procurement policies, frameworks and governance documentation;

  • Support procurement transformation and future ERP initiatives;

  • Drive compliance and regulatory reporting activities; and

  • Contribute to the evolution of a modern, business-focused procurement function.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring experience across strategic procurement, governance and stakeholder engagement, along with the ability to thrive in a changing environment.

We're particularly interested in candidates with:

  • Experience in procurement business partnering or strategic procurement roles;

  • Exposure to procurement governance, policy writing or framework development;

  • Experience supporting procurement transformation or ERP implementation projects;

  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; and

  • The ability to work independently and help establish new processes and ways of working.

Candidates from Queensland Government or other highly regulated industries are encouraged to apply, particularly those with experience in governance, compliance and procurement policy.

Why Apply?

This is more than a traditional procurement role - it's an opportunity to help shape the future of a procurement function from the ground up.

You'll enjoy:

  • Hybrid working arrangements with offices in Toowong, North Lakes and the Sunshine Coast;

  • The opportunity to work on meaningful transformation and change initiatives;

  • Exposure to procurement operating model redesign and policy uplift projects; and

  • A collaborative team environment where your ideas and expertise will be valued.

If you're looking for a role where you can influence change, build procurement capability and work closely with senior stakeholders, we'd love to hear from you.
