**About the Role
**As Product Development Lead, you will provide technical leadership and day-to-day coordination of a high performing product development team. Responsible for driving projects from concept through to commercialisation, you will ensure products are delivered on time, to specification and in line with quality, food safety and commercial requirements while collaborating with key stakeholders across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate product development projects from concept through to commercialisation and launch;
Provide technical guidance, coaching and problem solving support to the Product Development team;
Manage factory trials, scale up activities and process validation to ensure successful project delivery;
Review product specifications, formulations and technical documentation to maintain accuracy and compliance;
Partner with Operations, Quality, Procurement and Commercial teams to achieve project milestones; and
Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, efficiencies and outcomes.
About You
Degree qualified in Food Science or a related discipline;
Demonstrated experience in product development within food manufacturing;
Strong experience in factory trials, scale up and commercialisation;
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills; and
Highly organised with strong planning, prioritisation and problem solving capabilities.
