The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of building projects across Far North Queensland. Working within a high-performing team, you will manage all phases of project implementation – from pre-design and planning through to contract administration, construction oversight and post-completion activities. You will play a key role in ensuring projects meet scope, budget, timeframes and quality standards while maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
Key Highlights of the Role:
Lead the coordination and delivery of building projects from concept to completion;
Work closely with clients, external consultants, contractors and internal teams to achieve project objectives;
Oversee contract administration across both traditional and non-traditional contracting models;
Contribute to and influence key decisions, negotiations and stakeholder management activities; and
Ensure projects meet all quality, cost, time and reporting requirements while supporting organisational performance targets.
Required Experience
To succeed in this role, you will bring strong project management capability and a background in building or construction delivery. You will be confident working with multiple stakeholders, coordinating project activities and ensuring high-quality outcomes across all stages of the project lifecycle.
Key Requirements:
Proven experience in managing building or construction projects end-to-end;
Demonstrated ability to coordinate diverse project teams, including consultants, contractors and internal staff;
Strong understanding of contract management and contract administration processes;
Experience managing project budgets, timelines, cash flow and reporting obligations; and
Highly developed communication and negotiation skills, with confidence engaging daily with clients and stakeholders.
