We're partnering with a highly regarded construction business with a strong and active pipeline of projects across Victoria. With a solid track record of delivering complex builds across a range of sectors, this business has built a reputation for quality outcomes and long-standing client relationships.
Due to continued growth, they're looking to bring on a confident and capable Project Manager to join their team.
The role:
You will take full ownership of projects from initiation through to handover and financial close-out, working across an active and varied program of building construction throughout Victoria.
Projects typically range across sectors including:
Education & early learning;
Retail & hospitality;
Aged care & healthcare; and
General commercial developments.
You'll be responsible for:
End-to-end project delivery across concurrent projects;
Subcontractor engagement, procurement, and performance management;
Programme development and management using MS Project;
Budget management, cost control, and financial reporting;
Client and stakeholder management at site and program level;
Driving quality, safety, and compliance throughout delivery; and
Project close-out including completion documentation and financial reconciliation.
About you:
Relevant qualification in Project Management, Construction Management or Engineering trade-qualified candidates with strong experience will also be considered;
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role;
Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial or building construction contractor background essential;
Hands on experience directly managing subcontractors and trades;
Comfortable owning both the commercial and delivery aspects of a project;
Confident managing multiple projects concurrently at pace;
Solid MS Project skills for programme creation and management;
Background across sectors such as education, retail, hospitality or aged care is well regarded;
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels; and
Construction White Card and current Australian Driver's Licence required.
