In this role, you will:
Plan and deliver projects through the efficient supervision and development of office staff, field staff and subcontractors;
Monitor and review project standards using work order management techniques to track service, expenditure and delivery;
Manage regional resources including plant, equipment, depots and vehicles to support efficient project delivery;
Provide high-level supervisory services across construction, maintenance and upgrade works undertaken by QBuild;
Deliver operational contract supervisory services for construction and engineering contracts on major and complex projects;
Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, sound negotiation and successful programme outcomes;

Proactively manage the work performance and personal conduct of staff, including forepersons and trade staff.
Required Experience
We are seeking a capable and practical supervisor with strong technical building knowledge, leadership skills and a clear understanding of contract delivery in a government or commercial environment. You will be comfortable balancing operational site oversight with resource planning, stakeholder engagement and performance management.
To be successful, you will bring:
Demonstrated experience supervising construction, maintenance or upgrade projects;
Experience managing contracts or working in contract administration;
A current WHS General Safety Induction Card;
Strong working knowledge of building construction and maintenance legislation, regulations, principles and contract procedures; and
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
Highly regarded:
Construction industry trade qualifications;
Experience leading teams across regional operations; and
A Working with Children Blue Card, or ability to obtain one if required**.**
