Your new role:
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Team Leader, your new role will see you working on afternoon shift 2pm – 10pm (7.6hr days) Monday to Saturday, offering a good opportunity for someone driven to build their skills, lead a shift and earn good money through loading and an additional day of work per week. You will be overseeing compliance with all Quality & Saftey requirements for manufacturing operations, acting as a key liaison between production, warehouse and QA teams.
Your role will see you:
Ensure compliance with GMP, QA/QC, documentation practices, and SOPs;
Support Quality team to meet all regulatory and quality system requirements;
Conduct sampling, testing, and environmental monitoring (swabbing program);
Perform finished product QC checks and manage retention samples/room;
Monitor GMP, pre-requisite programs, and raw material approvals;
Deliver and support shop-floor training, including translation where needed;
Assist with instrument checks, calibration, and equipment validation;
Conduct audits (e.g. hard plastic) and maintain registers (e.g. knives);
Support ERP/SAP implementation and QA-related system processes;
Perform CCP checks, support in-process monitoring, and ensure 100% compliance;
Review batch records, investigate issues, and support traceability; and
Manage non-conformances, complaints, CAPAs, audit reporting, and communicate food safety/quality issues promptly.
What you need to succeed:
Bachelor’s degree in Food/Dairy Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field;
3 years’ experience in dairy environment specifically;
Strong MS Office skills (especially Excel);
Knowledge of GMP & HACCP (CCPs);
Strong organisation, time management, and attention to detail;
Problem-solving skills with ability to meet deadlines in high-volume settings;
Team player with flexibility to take on additional duties;
Desirable: SAP By Design experience and/or Mandarin language skills; and
Demonstrate full work rights, and permanent residency status / citizenship.
