Take the next step in your hotel revenue career with one of Sydney’s most distinctive lifestyle brands.

In just four years, Ace Hotel Sydney has established itself as one of the city’s standout hospitality destinations, with award-winning credentials, a hatted restaurant and a reputation that attracts an incredible mix of local and international guests.

Now, Ace is looking for a passionate Revenue & Distribution Manager to take ownership of on-property distribution, systems and channel performance.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with strong hotel revenue and distribution foundations who’s ready for greater ownership, broader commercial exposure and a genuine pathway towards revenue leadership.

Whether you’re currently an Assistant Revenue Manager, Revenue Analyst, Distribution Manager or Cluster Revenue professional, this could be the step-up you’ve been waiting for.

The opportunity

Sitting at the heart of the hotel’s commercial operation, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day distribution environment, ensuring rates, inventory, channels and systems are working effectively and commercially.

Working closely with the Director of Revenue Management, you’ll also gain increasing exposure to pricing, forecasting, budgeting and wider revenue strategy, with the opportunity to take on greater strategic ownership as you develop.

A key focus will be Ace Hotel Sydney’s channel mix. You’ll analyse distribution performance and identify opportunities to optimise channel contribution, reduce reliance on higher-cost channels and grow more profitable business.

This is not simply a reporting role. You’ll be the person on property who understands how the revenue and distribution ecosystem fits together and can turn data, systems and commercial insight into action.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own day-to-day hotel distribution and channel management;

  • Manage rate plans, room types, inventory, restrictions and channel mapping;

  • Oversee OTA channels including Booking.com and Expedia;

  • Monitor availability, rate parity and system connectivity;

  • Work across key platforms including Opera Cloud, SiteMinder and Lighthouse;

  • Troubleshoot distribution and connectivity issues with internal teams and external vendors;

  • Analyse booking pace, pickup, segmentation, channel contribution and market trends;

  • Support forecasting, budgeting and commercial performance reporting;

  • Implement pricing, promotional and inventory strategies alongside the DORM;

  • Identify opportunities to optimise channel mix and direct contribution;

  • Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Reservations and Front Office;

  • Support system improvements, integrations and revenue processes; and

  • Build broader commercial capability with increasing exposure to revenue strategy.

What we’re looking for

  • 3+ years’ experience across hotel revenue, distribution, reservations or yield;

  • Strong hands-on understanding of hotel distribution and channel management;

  • Experience managing rates, inventory, restrictions and OTA channels;

  • Exposure to Opera Cloud, SiteMinder or comparable hotel distribution systems;

  • Strong analytical, forecasting and reporting capability;

  • An understanding of channel mix, acquisition costs and distribution profitability;

  • The confidence to troubleshoot systems and work effectively with vendors;

  • Strong stakeholder skills across hotel operations and commercial teams; and

  • A commercial mindset and genuine desire to develop further into revenue strategy.

Experience within a boutique, lifestyle, luxury or independent hotel environment would be highly regarded, although candidates from major groups, cluster revenue teams and centralised revenue functions are also encouraged to apply.

Why Ace Hotel Sydney?

This is an opportunity to move beyond being one part of a large revenue function and become a highly visible revenue and distribution resource on property.

You’ll have the opportunity to build on your technical strengths while working closely with an experienced Director of Revenue Management to develop your strategic and commercial capability.

For an ambitious revenue professional who has mastered much of the execution piece and is asking “what’s next?”, this could be it.
