The Client

Our client is a large organisation with operations across multiple locations and service environments.

What’s on Offer

  • Full-time hours, Monday to Friday (between 6:00am – 6:00pm, rostered shifts);

  • Caboolture-based role;

  • 3-month contract with potential for extension;

  • Commence 7th June, possibly earlier;

  • Opportunity to work within a large, structured central rostering team;

  • Exposure to a complex, high-volume workforce environment; and

  • Training and support within established systems and processes.

The Role

As a Rostering Officer, you will play a key role in supporting the central rostering function by ensuring accurate and timely workforce scheduling across services.

You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality rostering data, responding to basic rostering queries, and supporting service teams to ensure appropriate staffing coverage. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to manage competing priorities, and confidence working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Entering, updating and maintaining accurate rostering data within workforce systems;

  • Supporting the resolution of basic rostering queries and escalation where required;

  • Assisting service teams with replacement staffing for planned and unplanned absences;

  • Monitoring daily roster alerts and ensuring issues are actioned in a timely manner;

  • Supporting the use of workforce management systems (UKG / Kronos or similar);

  • Contributing to the development of rostering documentation and procedures; and

  • Providing administrative support to the central rostering team as required.

About You

You are an experienced rostering professional who thrives in a structured, high-detail environment. You are confident working with systems, enjoy problem-solving, and can manage competing priorities without losing accuracy.

To be successful, you will bring:

  • Previous experience in rostering – essential;

  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy;

  • Experience working with rostering systems such as UKG (Kronos), Dayforce, ADP or Workforce platforms (highly regarded);

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;

  • Ability to interpret basic rostering rules or award / entitlement frameworks (desirable); and

  • Strong time management and ability to prioritise workload.

A current police check (or willingness to obtain one) is required for this role.
