About the Role

The Internal Sales Coordinator - Quote Conversion is responsible for supporting sales growth by proactively following up open quotes, assisting with routine customer enquiries, maintaining accurate sales information and supporting Sales Account Managers with day-to-day sales administration.

The primary purpose of the role is to improve quote conversion, customer responsiveness and sales team efficiency. The role acts as a key internal support point for the state sales team, ensuring customer opportunities are followed up in a timely and professional manner, quote status information is accurate, and Sales Account Managers are supported to focus on higher-value customer engagement and new business activity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively follow up open quotes with customers, distributors and internal stakeholders. Confirm customer interest, timing, decision status, competitor activity and next steps;

  • Maintain up-to-date customer data and compliance;

  • Provide routine sales support to Sales Account Managers, including customer follow-up, information gathering, basic product or pricing support, meeting coordination and administrative assistance;

  • Act as a professional internal contact point for customers regarding quote status, follow-up information and routine sales enquiries;

  • Maintain accurate quote, customer, opportunity and follow-up information in CRM, ERP or relevant sales systems; and

  • Assist with quote pipeline reporting, open quote tracking, conversion analysis and sales activity reporting.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in sales support, quote conversion role;

  • Proven ability to support teams;

  • High attention to detail and accuracy;

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities; and

  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
