About the Business
This is a proudly Australian-owned food business with a strong footprint across both grocery and chilled categories nationally.
Their portfolio spans household recognised brands found in major retailers, independents and specialty channels across the country. Backed by quality products, strong customer relationships and continued investment into innovation, the business is entering an exciting phase of growth across the South Australian market.
With new product launches, refreshed packaging and expanding ranging opportunities, there is genuine momentum behind the business and the brands.
About the Role
This is a territory role for someone who genuinely enjoys being in market.
You’ll take ownership of Adelaide North and the Hills, managing a structured customer base across independent grocers, fruit and veg retailers and specialty food stores. A well-established run already exists, but the opportunity sits in someone who can spot growth opportunities every time they walk into store.
This is not a passive account management role.
You’ll be identifying ranging opportunities, securing secondary placements, improving shelf presence and building long-term partnerships with customers who value service and consistency.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing a structured territory across metro and selected regional accounts;
Driving ranging, promotional activity and in-store execution;
Building strong relationships with store owners and managers;
Identifying opportunities to improve shelf presence and visibility;
Working closely with leadership on promotional planning and territory growth; and
Ensuring strong execution across chilled and grocery categories.
About You
You understand independent retail.
You know how to walk a store, build rapport quickly and identify opportunities others miss. You’re commercially aware, highly organised and comfortable working autonomously across your territory.
You’ll likely bring experience from FMCG, grocery, chilled or foodservice environments and enjoy working with premium products where brand presentation genuinely matters.
You’ll bring:
Experience within FMCG, grocery, chilled or foodservice sales;
Strong territory management or field sales capability;
Confidence managing independent retail relationships;
Excellent organisation and time management;
A proactive and commercially minded approach; and
Strong communication skills and natural relationship building ability.
Most importantly, you’ll bring ownership mentality, consistency and pride in execution.
