An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Accountant to join a high-performing finance team within a leading real estate investment management business.
 
This role will suit a CA/CPA qualified accountant who combines strong technical accounting capability with excellent interpersonal skills and enjoys working closely with stakeholders across the broader business.
 
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a key role in supporting the financial management and reporting of a portfolio of real estate investment assets and entities.
 
Key responsibilities will include

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts and financial reporting;

• Ownership of month-end and year-end accounting processes;

• Preparation of financial statements and statutory reporting;

• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis;

• Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations;

• Management of property and investment accounting requirements;

• Working closely with asset management, property and investment teams;

• Supporting audit, tax and compliance requirements;

• Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls; and

• Providing commercial insights and analysis to key stakeholders.

You will be a qualified CA/CPA accountant with experience in a professional, investment management, property or real estate environment.
 
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate

• CA or CPA qualification

• Strong technical accounting and financial reporting capability;

• Experience within real estate, property, funds management or investment management;

• Strong understanding of accounting for investment entities and/or property assets;

• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills;

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills;

• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders across the business;

• A proactive, commercially minded approach; and

• The ability to work autonomously while contributing strongly to a team.
