u&u Recruitment Partners is thrilled to be assisting a newly-established, specialist boutique employment law firm to search for a new Senior Associate. Our client was founded by two experienced partners and focuses on employment disputes (employer and employee), payroll compliance, wage remediation and regulatory engagement.
The firm has recently secured two major tenders and has a healthy pipeline of ongoing project work. They are entering a strong growth phase.
Full-time and part-time options available.
The Role
This is a rare ground-floor opportunity to help shape a growing specialist practice. You will work closely with the founding partners on complex matters across employment disputes, advisory matters and large-scale wage remediation projects. Work includes:
Employment disputes and proceedings;
Payroll compliance and remediation; and
Regulatory investigations (including Fair Work Ombudsman matters).
About You
Ideally, you will have:
6+ years’ PQE in employment law;
Strong technical skills (Fair Work Act, awards, enterprise agreements);
Admission to practice in Australia; and
A commercial, practical mindset with an interest in business development and growing the practice.
Sick of the confines of a major firm? Or perhaps you’re missing the technical rigour of private practice? Enjoy the best of both worlds at a firm where genuine work-life balance and flexibility co-exists with challenging and ground breaking project work.
