Join a high-impact cloud team driving a major technology transformation. This is a hands-on Senior Cloud Engineer role where you’ll lead from the front, embed DevSecOps best practices, and help shape a secure, scalable cloud environment.
 
Responsibilities

• Act as a technical lead and mentor across the cloud engineering team;

• Drive the shift from traditional ops to a modern DevSecOps model;

• Design, build and optimise AWS cloud environments and hybrid infrastructure;

• Implement and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform; and

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines in GitHub, embedding security throughout.

Essential Criteria

• 5+ years experience in a senior cloud, DevOps or DevSecOps role;

• Strong hands-on AWS experience across core services;

• Proven experience using Terraform in production environments;

• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions; and

• Strong understanding of DevSecOps, automation and security-first principles.

Desirable

• Experience in public sector or higher education; and

• Exposure to Azure, Kubernetes, Docker or relevant certifications.
