We're supporting a global enterprise organisation within the in the search for a Senior Cloud Engineer to help design, build, and migrate a secure Azure platform in a highly regulated environment.

This is a hands-on role with a strong focus on VMware-to-Azure migration, landing zone architecture, automation, governance, and observability.

Responsibilities:

• Lead migration of on-prem VMware workloads to Azure;

• Design and implement secure Azure landing zones aligned to governance and compliance;

• Build and operate Azure infrastructure across compute, networking, and storage;

• Deliver Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Bicep;

• Implement and optimise Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights;

• Apply Azure security controls including RBAC, NSGs, policies, and encryption; and

• Collaborate closely with architecture, security, network, and operations teams.

Requirements:

• Senior-level experience in Azure cloud engineering;

• Proven experience migrating VMware environments to Azure;

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform (IaC);

• Solid understanding of Azure networking, security, and governance; and

• Experience working in regulated enterprise environments.
