The Role

Exciting opportunity to join a growing non-bank Australian lender!

Reporting to the Credit Team Leader, the Senior Credit Analyst will be responsible for assessing and approving complex credit applications in line with lending policy and delegated lending authority (DLA).

Working within a fast-paced lending environment, you will manage broker relationships, deliver strong turnaround times, support junior team members, and contribute to continuous improvement across credit processes and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, structure, and approve credit applications within DLA;

  • Manage complex lending scenarios across asset and commercial finance;

  • Maintain SLA turnaround times in a high-volume environment;

  • Liaise with brokers and stakeholders throughout the application process;

  • Support and mentor junior team members;

  • Assist with process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives; and

  • Contribute to a collaborative and high-performing team culture.

About You

  • Experience as a Senior Credit Analyst or Credit Analyst within banking, asset finance, fintech, or financial services;

  • Strong understanding of credit risk, lending policy, and financial analysis;

  • Experience working within DLA frameworks;

  • Able to manage high volumes while maintaining strong attention to detail;

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; and

  • Proactive, team-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
