An exciting opportunity has emerged with a high-growth data centres business entering an important phase of its growth journey.

We are looking for a commercially minded Senior Finance Manager who wants more than a traditional reporting role. This is an autonomous, newly created position where you will have the opportunity to build out the finance function, establish processes and controls, and play a key role in supporting the continued growth of the business.

This would suit someone currently working within a data centre, infrastructure, property, energy or similarly capital-intensive environment who is ready for their next step, or someone from an adjacent industry who is looking for an opportunity to apply their skills in a fast-moving and entrepreneurial environment.

Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will take ownership of a broad finance remit and become a key partner to the wider business.

You'll be responsible for:

• Building and developing the finance function as the business scales;

• Ownership of budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling;

• Providing commercial insights to support strategic decision-making;

• Managing financial reporting, month-end and management reporting;

• Supporting major capital projects and investment decisions;

• Developing robust financial controls, processes and systems;

• Partnering with operational and commercial stakeholders across the business;

• Working closely with senior leadership on business performance and growth; and

• Helping shape the finance infrastructure required for a rapidly scaling organisation.

We're looking for someone who combines strong technical finance capability with commercial nous and an entrepreneurial mindset.

You'll ideally have:

• CA/CPA qualification or equivalent;

• Significant experience in a Senior Finance Manager / Finance Manager capacity;

• Experience within data centres, infrastructure, property, energy, construction or another capital-intensive sector;

• Strong financial modelling and FP&A capability;

• Experience operating autonomously and taking ownership of a broad remit;

• A genuine interest in building rather than inheriting a finance function;

• The confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders and influence decisions; and

• A hands-on approach and willingness to get into the detail when required.
