We are looking for a CA/CPA-qualified finance professional with 3+ years’ experience, ideally within the FMCG, Retail or Manufacturing space. This role offers the ideal next step to take your strong technical foundation into a dynamic, future-focused environment where your work directly shapes commercial outcomes.
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you’ll partner closely with senior leaders to provide strategic insights and support key business decisions. While continuing to apply your technical expertise, you’ll take on a broader role focused on driving performance, contributing to continuous improvement and developing as a trusted commercial advisor
What you’ll be doing:
Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end financial close processes, including reconciliations and accruals;
Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and contribute to monthly reporting packs;
Oversee statutory reporting, including preparation and audit of financial statements for Australia and New Zealand;
Manage the IFRS 16 leasing database and associated accounting impacts;
Assist with the annual audit process, including preparing and reviewing audit schedules;
Provide support across accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, BAS and GST preparation, and general finance reporting;
Supervise the recording and reporting of fixed asset registers; and
Assist in developing and improving finance procedures, systems and operational processes.
What we’re looking for:
Must be CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent);
Relevant degree qualifications in accounting, business and/or finance;
Strong experience within Retail, FMCG or Manufacturing industry; and
A confident communicator who is comfortable working with non-finance stakeholders.
