An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Senior Financial Accountant to join a rapidly growing automotive group undergoing significant transformation following a major acquisition by a global mobility organisation.
This newly created role sits at the centre of a large-scale post-merger integration (PMI) program and offers the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future finance function of a market-leading automotive business.
Reporting directly to the Senior Financial Controller, you will be responsible for supporting financial reporting, integration activities, systems improvement and process standardisation across a newly combined group.

Key Responsibilities
Support daily, month-end and year-end accounting activities across multiple entities;
Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports;
Deliver financial analysis and insights to support decision-making;
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis;
Drive standardisation of reporting frameworks and accounting processes;
Support ERP and financial systems integration initiatives;
Identify opportunities to automate and streamline finance processes;
Assist with cashflow forecasting and working capital management;
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting, tax and audit requirements; and
Support acquisition-related projects, due diligence activities and ongoing integration initiatives.
About You
You will be a technically strong accounting professional who enjoys improving processes and working within a dynamic environment.
To be successful you will bring:
CA or CPA qualification;
Experience in a Senior Financial Accountant position;
Strong technical accounting and financial reporting capability;
Experience operating within multi-entity environments;
Exposure to acquisitions, integrations or business transformation projects will be highly regarded; and
A proactive, solutions-focused approach to continuous improvement.
