The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the CFO & Company Secretary, the Senior Financial Accountant will take ownership of critical financial reporting and compliance activities while supporting cash flow management, forecasting, systems improvement and broader business initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for a CA/CPA-qualified professional who enjoys combining strong technical accounting expertise with analytical problem-solving, stakeholder engagement and hands-on financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting, including consolidations and statutory compliance;

• Support ASX reporting, Board and Executive reporting, investor presentations and external audits;

• Manage taxation compliance across GST, FBT, PAYG and other regulatory obligations;

• Oversee cash flow forecasting, treasury reporting, banking facilities and covenant compliance;

• Support fixed asset management, capital expenditure analysis and investment appraisals;

• Drive payroll reporting, workforce analytics and labour cost reporting;

• Identify opportunities to improve financial systems, reporting processes and automation; and

• Partner with the CFO and operational leaders to provide accurate financial information and reporting insights.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• CA or CPA qualification;

• Proven experience in a Senior Financial Accountant or similar position within an ASX-listed environment;

• Strong technical accounting, statutory reporting and audit experience;

• Sound knowledge of taxation compliance, treasury and cash flow management;

• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial systems;

• Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail;

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business;

• A proactive, organised and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively; and

• Experience in manufacturing, agribusiness or food production, along with exposure to payroll reporting and finance process improvement, will be highly regarded.
