Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly financial management reports, reconciliations, accruals, and statutory/regulatory financial statements;

• Delivering interim monthly financial results and variance analysis directly to senior finance leadership;

• Partnering closely with internal business units to facilitate accurate, cost-centre sensitive reporting and insightful monthly management commentary;

• Proactively identifying and implementing process improvements to accounting procedures and workflows; and

• Identifying, tracking, and resolving potential risk issues and maintaining airtight documentation.

What We’re Looking For:

• CA/CPA Qualified;

• Experienced in a Senior Financial Accountant or complex Financial Accountant role, within an ASX listed financial services organisation;

• Strong understanding of current accounting practices, statutory reporting standards, and financial statement preparation;

• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport across diverse departments and present findings clearly to executives; and

• Big 4/Mid-Tier first time movers with an FS client-base are highly encouraged to apply.
