We are partnering with a reputable Fund Manager in the Property space, as they seek out a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team. The Senior Financial Analyst will report directly into the Financial controller and help oversee financial reporting and management accounting. Working closely with the CFO, Financial Controller and partnering with the shared services team of a joint venture partner, the Senior Analyst helps maintain a best-in-class finance platform while supporting the continued growth of the business.

What you’ll be doing:

• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including journals, accruals and reconciliations;

• Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and contribute to monthly reporting packs;

• Assist in developing and improving finance procedures, systems and operational processes;

• Contribute to budgeting activities and ongoing cash flow monitoring;

• Assist with the annual audit process, including preparing and reviewing audit schedules;

• Provide support across accounts payable and receivable, invoicing, BAS and GST preparation, and general finance reporting;

• Prepare periodic financial reporting for fund entities, sub-trusts and development vehicles;

• Support investor reporting, including unit pricing, capital calls and distribution calculations;

• Assist with debt and interest calculations, loan compliance reporting and treasury activities; and

• Maintain accurate ledgers, reconciliations and supporting documentation across fund entities.

What we’re looking for:

• Professional CPA/CA qualification or equivalent;

• Ideally 3 years+ relevant work experience with exposure to financial control and performance reporting;

• Property Funds and/or Funds Management experience is desirable;

• Experience with Yardi or similar ERP/accounting systems preferred; and

• Working knowledge of IFRS and AASB standards relevant to financial reporting and fund accounting.
