About the Organisation

This role sits within a large Queensland public sector infrastructure and maintenance environment that supports the delivery of essential services across a significant asset portfolio. The team focuses on operational coordination, asset lifecycle management and continuous improvement to support safe, efficient and well-governed infrastructure outcomes.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Infrastructure Services Officer (AO5) to support service maintenance programs through strong coordination, data management and stakeholder engagement. The role plays a key part in facilitating the transition of plant and equipment between maintenance and capital delivery programs, while ensuring data accuracy, process alignment and smooth day-to-day operations.

This is a opportunity for someone with strong Excel capability, attention to detail and experience working in structured, process-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the transition of plant and equipment between maintenance and capital programs;

  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding of assets into service maintenance programs;

  • Manage and update data in corporate systems, including reporting and project creation requests;

  • Maintain program documentation, SharePoint sites and coordination meeting materials;

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support daily operational requirements; and

  • Identify and support process improvements aligned to asset lifecycle and operational goals.

About You

You will bring strong administrative, analytical and coordination experience, with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, structured environment.

Key capabilities include:

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, data validation and basic analysis;

  • High-level written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail;

  • Experience preparing documentation, templates and operational procedures;

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;

  • Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement; and

  • Proven ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Relevant experience in infrastructure, maintenance, asset management or operational support;

  • Experience in government or large, complex organisations is highly regarded; and

  • Full-time contract role (38-hour week).
