We’re working on an exciting opportunity for a Senior Legal Assistant to support a Partner within a global law firm.
The Partner travels internationally frequently, so they’re looking for someone who is proactive, highly organised, and always thinking one step ahead to keep things running smoothly.
While it’s a global firm, the team has a small firm feel, you’ll be closely embedded in the group, supported by a collaborative culture, and there is real scope for this role to grow into a Team Leader position over time. The environment is flexible and family-focused, offering a strong balance of challenge and support.
The role involves:
Managing the Partner’s diary, travel, and client meetings;
Opening new matters and ensuring full compliance with Risk & Compliance procedures;
Managing end-to-end billing processes, including high-volume and detailed invoices requiring accuracy and strong attention to detail;
Maintaining filing systems and ensuring all records are up to date;
Assisting with client events and general office administration, including onboarding support for new starters; and
Completing expense reconciliation and coordinating case preparation materials.
About you:
Previous experience as a Legal Assistant / Legal Secretary in a fast-paced environment;
Strong experience with billing, ideally including complex or high-volume billing processes;
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail;
Confident managing competing priorities and working proactively;
Comfortable supporting a senior stakeholder with a busy international schedule; and
A team player who enjoys being the go-to support person in a close-knit team.
What’s on offer:
High-level 1:1 support role to a Partner;
Competitive salary + bonus scheme;
Flexible, family-friendly culture (1-2 days WFH); and
Modern CBD offices with excellent facilities.
