I am working with one of my favourite clients, one of the most highly regarded top tier law firms in Australia, on a Legal Assistant opportunity within their Corporate team in Sydney. This is a true EA style role supporting one very busy and senior Partner on a 1:1 basis. If you are someone who thrives in a fast paced environment, takes pride in being a trusted right hand and wants to work at the very top of the market, this is the role for you.
The Role
This is a high volume, fast paced role where no two days look the same. Your responsibilities will include:
Proactive diary and inbox management, always staying one step ahead;
Acting as the key coordination point across all administrative matters for the practice;
Managing correspondence, document production and matter administration;
Coordinating client meetings, calls and travel arrangements;
Liaising confidently with clients and internal and external stakeholders; and
Managing billing processes including pre-bills, edits and cost reporting.
About You
Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or EA within a legal or professional services environment;
Strong experience supporting very senior stakeholders with a calm and proactive approach;
Excellent judgement and discretion when managing sensitive matters;
Able to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines without missing a beat;
Experience with billing and matter management systems; and
Someone who takes real pride in the support they provide and wants to be part of something great.
