The Team
You'll be joining a well-established, high-performing Construction team in Sydney, working across major infrastructure projects for some of the biggest names in the industry. The team collaborates closely across offices and jurisdictions, offering a varied and interesting workload.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Legal Assistant to join a busy, high-performing team supporting a Partner and wider team.
What You'll Be Doing
Managing Partners' diaries, travel arrangements and client meetings;
Opening new matters, drafting Client Care Letters and preparing bills, in line with Risk & Compliance procedures;
Maintaining filing systems, client records and the file monitoring/closure process;
Formatting, editing and preparing documents, correspondence and case preparation materials, plus conducting legal research;
Managing and triaging email inboxes and handling calls on behalf of the team; and
Building strong client relationships, supporting new starters, and assisting with general office administration.
About You
You'll thrive in this role if you have:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a professional services or legal environment;
Exceptional attention to detail and strong organisational skills;
Intermediate MS Office skills;
Confident, professional communication, written and verbal;
The ability to build rapport with people at all levels; and
A willingness to learn and contribute to a team.
