Job Details

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior legal assistant to join a well-established, national law firm known for its strong culture, quality work and long-standing client relationships.

This is not a typical legal assistant role. You’ll be supporting two senior leaders with medical backgrounds, working at the intersection of law, healthcare, science and regulation. The work is varied and fast-moving, offering exposure to complex and high-profile matters that have real-world impact.

This role will suit someone who enjoys working in a true EA capacity - managing priorities, anticipating needs, and being a trusted support to senior stakeholders.

The Role:

You’ll provide high-level administrative and EA support to two senior professionals and their wider legal team. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Complex diary and inbox management;

  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients and stakeholders;

  • Billing and matter management;

  • Opening and closing files;

  • Document formatting and mail merges;

  • Coordinating meetings, deadlines and key milestones; and

  • File management, archiving and general administration.

About you:

You’ll be a confident, senior legal assistant or EA who brings:

  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders within a law firm;

  • Comfort working at pace and managing competing priorities;

  • Strong judgement, initiative and attention to detail;

  • Excellent communication and client service skills; and

  • Advanced Microsoft Office capability.
