About the Role
You will partner closely with stakeholders across the business, providing commercially focused advice that supports both day-to-day operations and strategic objectives.
Your work will include:
Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements;
Advising on procurement, projects and strategic commercial initiatives;
Supporting operational teams on contractual, commercial and regulatory matters;
Providing practical, risk-based legal advice to senior stakeholders;
Managing external legal providers where required; and
Contributing to continuous improvement within the legal function.
About You
To be successful, you will ideally have:
10+ years' post-admission experience;
Strong commercial contracting experience gained in-house and / or private practice preferably in the resources sector;
Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management skills;
A pragmatic, commercial approach and the ability to build trusted relationships; and
Experience in property or technology matters or within the energy or resources sectors will be highly regarded, although not essential.
