We are currently partnering with a large, complex organisation to recruit a Senior Management Accountant into a high-impact finance partnering role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a strategic, advisory-focused environment and enjoys influencing decision-making at a senior level.
This role will see you operating as a trusted business partner, providing strategic financial insight across a diverse portfolio, while leading and developing a small team.
About the Role
As a Senior Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering strategic financial leadership and partnering closely with senior stakeholders. You will provide forward-looking insights, drive financial performance.
With 4 direct reports, this position also offers the opportunity to lead, mentor and build capability within your team.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a strategic finance partner, delivering high-quality financial advice to senior stakeholders;
Lead end-to-end budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes;
Provide commercial insights and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives;
Deliver performance reporting and financial analysis, identifying risks and opportunities;
Oversee financial governance frameworks, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement;
Influence and support decision-making through strong stakeholder engagement and communication; and
Lead, coach and develop a team of 4 finance professionals.
About You
CA / CPA qualified (or equivalent);
Proven experience in a senior management accounting or finance partnering role within a large, complex environment;
Strong business partnering capability, with the ability to influence and build relationships at a senior level;
Demonstrated experience in leading teams and developing talent;
Highly analytical, with strong commercial acumen and the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights; and
Excellent communication skills, with confidence in presenting to senior stakeholders.
