u&u Recruitment Partners are excited to again partner with a leading Australian financial services company, specialising in tax-effective investment products. Our client is growing their risk & compliance team and are hiring a Senior Manager – Enterprise Risk and Governance.
 
This is a growth role, reporting directly to the newly appointed CRO. You will be responsible for uplifting and maturing RMFs; refining and enhancing enterprise risk and governance frameworks and advising on operational risk. Line 1 and Line 2 focused, as the business moves towards SFI status.
 
Key requirements include:

• Framework uplift & design: Modernise RMF to ensure alignment with prudential expectations;

• Framework embedment & change: Partner with the business to improve ownership of risk practices;

• Risk profiling and insight: Improve visibility of business risk; and

• Governance & regulatory alignment: APRA, ASIC, AUSTRAC regulatory obligations.

Suitable candidates will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in risk management, with a focus on enterprise and/or operational risk. You will be a risk and compliance generalist, with the ability to traverse a range of stakeholders. Experience in financial services (APRA regulated environments) will be highly regarded.
