DBC is a privately-owned and operated joint venture between Chow Tai Fook Enterprises and Far East Consortium – a powerhouse consortium that brings together global experience in property and hotel development, consumer and retail markets, entertainment and hospitality.
The Role
This is a hands-on, enterprise-level role that is responsible for risk and compliance across the business.
Reporting to the General Counsel, you will operate as a trusted advisor to the Board and senior leadership, ensuring that risk and compliance frameworks are not only maintained but actively improved and embedded.
Responsibilities include:
Leading enterprise risk and compliance frameworks, including registers, policies and reporting;
Overseeing compliance with licence, regulatory and contractual obligations;
Reviewing and challenging operational reporting to identify risks, gaps and trends;
Preparing high-quality reporting for the Board and key governance committees;
Supporting regulatory engagement with key external stakeholders;
Driving governance uplift initiatives, including obligations mapping and policy development; and
Offering insights and embedding a proactive and forward-looking risk function.
About You
You are a risk and compliance professional that thrives in complex environments and enjoys applying analytical thinking to real business challenges.
You bring:
~8+ years’ experience in risk, compliance or regulatory roles;
Experience in a highly regulated environment (financial services, gaming, energy or similar);
Strong capability in enterprise risk frameworks and compliance oversight;
Experience preparing Board or committee-level reporting; and
The ability to interpret data, identify gaps and form an independent view.
You are:
Intellectually curious and enjoy ambiguity;
Comfortable operating in a small but high-impact team;
Keen to build and shape a function, not inherit a finished one; and
Practical in your approach to building risk management frameworks.
