We are pleased to be partnering with a purpose-driven organisation to recruit an experienced People & Culture Manager on an initial contract basis. Reporting to a highly regarded Director of People & Culture and working closely with a small, evolving P&C team, you will play a key role in building team capability, supporting leaders through complex people matters, and contributing to several important organisation-wide initiatives.
Your role will include:
Leading, coaching and mentoring a small team of P&C Officers to build capability and confidence;
Managing employee relations matters, including investigations, complaints and compliance requirements;
Supporting the implementation of a Capability Framework and associated people lifecycle improvements;
Contributing to the rollout of a new system across rostering, payroll, HR and performance modules;
Supporting leadership development initiatives, with a focus on early intervention and strength-based feedback; and
Staying across industrial relations developments and contributing to workforce planning in response to sector changes.
What they are looking for:
Proven experience in a People & Culture Manager or Senior HR Business Partner role;
Strong employee relations experience, with the ability to manage sensitive matters with care and professionalism;
A collaborative, calm and measured communication style, with a strong coaching mindset; and
Ability to balance operational HR delivery with involvement in broader organisational projects.
