We are partnering with a major global firm as they seek out a Senior Tax Analyst to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will assist with compliance, tax projects and governance, ensuring the company meets its tax obligations and supports advisory work. The ideal candidate will have experience in the Gas, Energy or Engineering space, although open to wider non-financial services industries.  
 
What you’ll be doing:

• Manage tax compliance and reporting (income tax, GST, FBT, PAYG, withholding tax) across AU/NZ;

• Organise completion of AU Consolidated Income Tax return in conjunction with Tax team, and specific tax areas for the group including Transfer Pricing;

• Liaising with external advisers and auditors as required in relation to tax compliance matters;

• Oversee tax payments and lodgements;

• Support tax impacts from acquisitions;

• Administer tax systems (e.g. OneSource); and

• Supporting the Tax team to develop and implement policies, procedures and systems in relation to tax compliance.

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 4+ years corporate tax experience in corporate accounting or tax team;

• CPA / CA qualification; and

• Strong knowledge of Income Tax, Transfer Pricing, GST, FBT, Payroll Tax and Tax effect accounting.
