Your new Company
Specialising in 25 years of pumps industry experience, your new company has a global footprint specialising in vacuum pumps, centrifugal pumps, related systems and accessories.
Based in Melbourne’s Southeast, your new role will see you work as a permanent full-time Fitter and Turner. Well esteemed in the pump industry, with secure long-term client partnerships, your new organisation offers a strong retention rate and the convenient location of being based in Dandenong South.
Your new company is looking for an experienced Fitter & Turner to commence asap due to a new growth position. Your role will allow for autonomy, security and diversity.
Your new role
Your new role will see you reporting to the Customer Service Manager, with hours of work being 8.30 am – 5 pm Monday to Friday. Being a SME Engineering company, the role is constant but not fast-paced, and you will be enabled to work on a diversity of scheduling, service, administration and logistics requirements!
Your new role will see you;
Process quotations and orders;
Organise and schedule service work for one service technician (booking jobs, allocating parts and administering paperwork/reporting);
Logistics administration, logistics coordination (booking freight), and high volumes of data entry;
Stock management and maintaining customer database;
Provide timely resolutions and react to customer concerns or discrepancies; and
Working in a small team of 3 within service, to ensure customer satisfaction, part ordering for technicians (full training provided on part side) and other administration duties as required.
What you need to succeed
Background in service scheduling (2 years+), customer service experience within an industrial business setting;
Proven background and capability working with MS Suite (Word, Excel, etc.).
Good phone manner and service-driven;
Live local to Dandenong South, enjoy a down-to-earth SME business culture; and
Seeking a permanent role, without high-level income calls, just a nice, constant pace.
