Looking for a senior social media role where you can lead strategy, content and video-first campaigns across multiple brands within a globally recognised premium consumer business?
 
This permanent opportunity offers full ownership of social media strategy, content development and community engagement for a global brand with a loyal customer base and sophisticated digital ecosystem. Based in Melbourne CBD, this is a hybrid role (three days in office, two days WFH) working closely with cross-functional marketing and campaign teams.
 
About the Role:

Reporting to the Manager, Digital & eCommerce, you will lead the social media strategy across Australia and New Zealand, driving engagement, social commerce, and brand advocacy. You’ll oversee high-volume content production, manage performance analysis and optimisation, and partner with PR, influencer, and creative teams to amplify reach.
 
You will:

  • Develop and execute social media strategy across multiple brands;

  • Lead video-first content creation, from concept through to editing;

  • Align social content with campaigns, subscription objectives & commerce;

  • Optimise performance through analytics, reporting and insights;

  • Collaborate with internal teams for high-quality, on-brand content;

  • Manage social engagement, community and escalation processes; and

  • Stay ahead of social trends and emerging platform features.

This is a highly visible, hands-on strategic role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-output environment and enjoys blending creativity with commercial impact.
 
About You:

You are an experienced social media professional with strong strategic capability and a hands-on approach to content creation. You thrive in high-volume environments and can translate trends for a premium audience.
 
You’ll bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in social media, digital marketing or content strategy;

  • Proven success growing engaged online communities and high-performing content;

  • Expertise in short-form video, social commerce and platform optimisation;

  • Experience managing content calendars, creative briefs and agencies; and

  • Highly organised, commercially minded and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
