This is a dynamic opportunity to sit at the heart of our client's engagement strategy, working within the Vice-Chancellor’s Office to support the coordination and delivery of high-profile external relations. You’ll provide both strategic advice and operational support to the Government and Community Relations Division, helping strengthen their partnerships and advocacy efforts.

Every day will bring variety — from preparing government briefings and partnership materials to supporting events and engagement activities across the univeritites diverse campus network. You’ll play an important role in ensuring their voice and vision are well represented in every conversation.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and support engagement with government, community, and industry stakeholders;

  • Provide informed advice grounded in knowledge of the political and community landscape; and

  • Contribute to advocacy, partnerships, and initiatives that advance the University’s goals.

About You

You’re an excellent communicator who thrives on collaboration and understands how to turn ideas into action. You have a strong awareness of government and community contexts, attention to detail, and a passion for creating positive connections that deliver real outcomes.
You’ll bring:

  • Strong organisational and communication skills;

  • Understanding of government processes and community engagement; and

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
