Specialising in 25 years of pumps industry experience, your new company has a global footprint specialising in vacuum pumps, centrifugal pumps, related systems and accessories.

Based in Melbourne’s Southeast your new role will see you adhere to working in the warehouse as a capable all - rounder. Forklift operating, receiving, dispatching and working with hand and power tools – your new role is diverse and allows for ample autonomy.

Your new role:

Your new role will see you reporting to the Workshop Manager, with hours of work being 7.30am – 4pm Monday to Friday. Overtime is minimal, but paid in accordance with overtime rates. Being a SME Engineering company, the role is consistently busy, and you will be enabled as the sole employee in the warehouse to manage operations.

Your new role will see you:

• Adhering to receiving, despatch, loading, unloading and working with bespoke size pallets;

• Manual processes with mark offs (alongside utilizing excel & word);

• Using power and hand tools to assemble basic parts for the pumps;

• Most handling adhered to via forklift with no manual handling exceeding safe zone of 20kgs;

• SKUs spanning 2,000; and

• Licenced to operate a forklift (counterbalance).

What you need to succeed:

• Proven experience working in a storeperson and forklift operating capacity;

• Can competently and confidently use hand and power tools;

• Ability to work autonomously and manage a manual paper-based warehouse management system;

• Be highly organized and ability to adhere to manual written reporting/diagnostics; and

• Locality to Dandenong South and looking for a long term, stable opportunity with a supportive business.
