A national engineering consultancy has recently expanded its operations and opened a new office in Adelaide. Due to continued project growth, they are looking to bring on a Structural Engineer with around 3 years' experience to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging, high-value projects within a growing team that is building its presence in South Australia.
The Role
You will be involved in the design and delivery of building and infrastructure structures, working closely with a collaborative team of senior engineers and drafters to produce safe, efficient and high-quality outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
Structural analysis and design across a variety of project types;
Preparation of structural calculations, reports and documentation;
Coordinating with architects, builders, developers and project stakeholders;
Conducting site inspections and ensuring regulatory compliance; and
Supporting project delivery from concept through to detailed design.
Mentoring graduate engineers
Software & Tools
Engineers in this team work with a range of industry-standard structural software, including:
SPACE GASS;
Strand7;
ETABS;
RAPT; and
Experience with some of these tools is highly desirable.
About You
3+ years' experience as a Structural Engineer;
Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering;
Strong knowledge of Australian design standards including AS1170, AS4100, AS3600, AS3700 and AS1720;
Background working within a consulting engineering environment; and
Based in Adelaide or willing to relocate.
