National Pumping & Irrigation (NPI) is a growing national organisation with an expanding footprint across Australia. With continued growth and acquisitions underway, NPI is investing in its people capability and is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support current recruitment needs while building strong talent pipelines for the future.
This newly created role offers a unique opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end recruitment while contributing to proactive talent sourcing, workforce planning, and broader people initiatives.
About the Role
This is a broad, impactful role where you’ll manage current recruitment needs and build a strong pipeline for future growth. Whilst vacancy numbers can vary, the real opportunity lies in proactive sourcing, talent pooling, and workforce planning - particularly across upcoming acquisitions.
You’ll work closely with hiring managers, be the face of NPI in the talent market, and help elevate how we tell our people story.
Deliver end-to-end recruitment across the business;
Write and post job ads, screen, shortlist, interview, and manage candidate communication;
Deliver specialised recruitment for hybrid and technical roles;
Coordinate assessments, background checks, contracts, and onboarding (Employment Hero);
Build and maintain talent pools through proactive sourcing and market mapping;
Develop pipelines by region and capability to support future growth and acquisitions;
Strengthen employer branding via LinkedIn, industry engagement, and education partners; and
Support targeted recruitment campaigns, graduate / apprentice pathways, and workforce planning.
About You
You’re likely someone who:
Has experience in end-to-end recruitment or talent acquisition (3+ years);
Enjoys both hands-on delivery and strategic pipeline building;
Communicates confidently with candidates and stakeholders;
Is organised, data-aware, and process-driven - but not rigid;
Is curious and keen to expand into broader people and talent portfolios; and
Thrives in a growing, evolving business environment.
