**About the Opportunity
**
This is a rare opportunity to establish and lead the organisation’s first dedicated Talent Acquisition function. Reporting to the HR Manager and forming part of a collaborative HR team of five, this newly created position will play a pivotal role in shaping how the business attracts, engages and hires talent across a growing multi-site operation. Based in Murarrie with regular travel to the Sunshine Coast, you will partner closely with leaders to deliver recruitment outcomes while building the strategies, systems and processes that will support the organisation's continued growth.
Partner with the HR Manager to develop and execute the organisation’s talent attraction and recruitment strategy, ensuring workforce plans align with operational requirements and future growth objectives;
Draw on your expertise to recommend and implement fit-for-purpose recruitment policies, processes, frameworks and systems that establish a scalable and effective talent acquisition function;
Manage end-to-end recruitment across a diverse portfolio of blue and white-collar roles, while partnering with leaders to support workforce planning and hiring priorities;
Develop proactive sourcing strategies, talent pipelines and attraction initiatives to secure high-quality talent;
Drive employer branding and candidate experience through targeted attraction campaigns, industry networking, and participation in career events;
Leverage recruitment data, market insights and reporting to inform decision-making, identify trends and drive continuous improvement; and
Support onboarding and collaborate with the broader HR team to ensure a positive employee experience.
About You
You are an experienced Talent Acquisition professional who enjoys balancing hands-on recruitment delivery with strategic talent attraction initiatives and is motivated by the opportunity to build, influence and continuously improve recruitment practices within a growing organisation.
Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment across high-volume, fast-paced environments, with exposure to both blue and white-collar workforce;
Strong capability in strategic sourcing, talent pipelining and workforce planning, with the ability to proactively identify and attract talent in competitive labour markets;
Confidence to operate autonomously and act as a trusted recruitment subject matter expert, providing recommendations and implementing initiatives that improve recruitment outcomes;
Experience reviewing, implementing or optimising recruitment processes, frameworks and systems, with exposure to ATS and recruitment technology platforms;
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively with leaders and guide more strategic approaches to hiring and workforce planning;
A proactive and solutions-focused approach, coupled with the initiative to identify opportunities, drive continuous improvement and deliver meaningful change; and
A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle, with the flexibility to travel to the Sunshine Coast on a weekly basis.
