About the Role
As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for profitably growing the customer base within a defined territory, increasing market share, and strengthening brand presence across the category. This role is highly relationship-driven, working closely with contractors, builders, and substrate suppliers, while also leveraging broader group capabilities to deliver value-added solutions and long-term growth.
Roles & Responsibilities
Grow sales, profit, and market share across a defined territory and product mix;
Build and maintain strong B2B relationships with contractors, builders, and key accounts;
Execute call plans and customer engagement strategies aligned to national sales objectives;
Retain and grow high wallet-share customers through tailored needs analysis and gap planning;
Identify and develop new builder opportunities and commercial agreements;
Partner with substrate manufacturers and manage strategic alliances;
Deliver technical support, sales presentations, and product demonstrations as required;
Maintain accurate CRM/Sales Force Automation usage and reporting;
Ensure compliance with competition laws, safety standards, and sustainability commitments; and
Actively promote and demonstrate personal leadership in workplace safety.
Skills & Experience
5+ years’ experience in sales within the building, construction, or trade environment;
Strong knowledge of texture coatings, application methods, and lightweight cladding systems would be advantageous;
Sound understanding of the building industry and contractor-led sales cycles;
Proven ability to manage key accounts and grow share within complex customer groups;
Strong planning, time management, and prioritisation skills;
Capability to deliver technical and project-based support to customers;
Confident communicator with the ability to influence, present, and build long-term partnerships; and
A safety-first mindset aligned with best-practice WHS and sustainability standards.
