The Opportunity
We are currently recruiting for two contract opportunities within the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team, supporting both operational and strategic injury management and WHS functions.
These roles sit within a well-established team and offer the opportunity to contribute to meaningful outcomes while working in a flexible and supportive environment.
AO6 Senior Consultant – Injury Management
In this senior role, you will lead end-to-end injury and illness management, partnering with leaders to drive safe and timely return-to-work outcomes.
As an AO6, you will be:
Managing complex injury and return-to-work cases;
Providing expert advice on injury management and rehabilitation strategies;
Coordinating return-to-work plans and reasonable adjustments;
Liaising with stakeholders including WorkCover, medical providers and insurers; and
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and policy updates.
AO5 Health, Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator
This role is a key coordination position focused on supporting WHS systems, reporting and team operations, enabling advisors to focus on higher-level safety work.
As an AO5, you will be:
Managing WHS inbox and coordinating responses;
Maintaining incident logs and supporting reporting (including executive reporting);
Administering WHS systems (Salvus) and supporting transition to a new platform;
Producing reports and working with Excel (pivot tables required);
Supporting wellbeing initiatives and internal communications; and
Coordinating stakeholder meetings and engagement.
Required Experience
We are seeking candidates with experience across WHS, injury management, or safety coordination within government or complex organisations. You will bring:
Experience in injury management, WHS, or safety coordination roles;
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills;
Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
Strong administrative and organisational capability; and
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Highly regarded:
Experience with WHS systems;
Understanding of workers’ compensation and return-to-work processes; and
Experience in government or highly regulated environments.
