About the Position
As the WHS Manager, you will lead a team of WHS Business Partners and drive organisational capability in health, safety and wellbeing. This role is central to shaping safety culture, overseeing WHS frameworks and programs, guiding strategic initiatives and partnering with leaders to embed best-practice WHS standards across all service areas.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading and developing the WHS Business Partnering function;
Implementing WHS frameworks, tools and capability programs;
Leading complex risk assessments and incident investigations;
Driving cultural change and embedding safety into operational design;
Reporting, assurance, audits and performance measurement; and
Partnering with the Injury Management & HR teams to deliver high-impact outcomes.
About the U
You are an experienced WHS leader with a passion for building capability, influencing culture and enabling safe, thriving workplaces.
You bring:
Proven leadership experience managing high-performing teams;
Strong knowledge of WHS frameworks, systems and wellbeing programs;
Qualifications in WHS (Cert IV minimum; ICAM, auditing and training highly regarded);
Advanced communication, stakeholder engagement and change management skills;
Experience in incident investigation, risk management, audits and capability development;
A collaborative, customer-focused approach and a commitment to driving continuous improvement; and
A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel across sites as needed.
