This is a hands on role where your technical expertise, judgement and ability to build trusted relationships will help strengthen workplace relations practices and support positive outcomes across the Group.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and resolve complex employee relations matters, ensuring fair, compliant and commercially sound outcomes;

  • Support enterprise bargaining processes and build constructive relationships with unions and key stakeholders;

  • Manage employment related disputes, Fair Work Commission matters and other complex workplace issues;

  • Coach and support leaders on workplace relations best practice and effective people management; and

  • Develop and continuously improve workplace relations policies, frameworks and processes across the Group.

About You:

  • Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation, awards, enterprise agreements and workplace regulations;

  • Proven experience managing complex ER and IR matters, with exposure to enterprise bargaining and union engagement;

  • Strong negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels;

  • A confident communicator who can provide clear, practical advice and navigate sensitive workplace matters with sound judgement;

  • A pragmatic, solutions focused approach and the ability to work independently while collaborating across a broader People & Culture function; and

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Employment Relations, Business or a related discipline.
