Our client, a well respected law firm, is seeking a Workroom Supervisor to lead a busy and high-performing office services team of 3 . This is a hands on leadership role where no two days are the same. From coordinating critical document production and court deliveries to overseeing meeting room set ups and supporting the wider business, you'll play an integral part in keeping the firm's operations moving.
The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Melbourne Office Manager, you'll oversee the day-to-day activities of the Workroom, ensuring work is delivered accurately, efficiently, and with a strong focus on customer service. You'll lead a small team, allocate workloads, manage rosters, and act as the key point of contact for both internal stakeholders and external service providers.
Along the way, you'll build strong relationships across the firm, working closely with legal and business support teams to meet deadlines and solve problems before they arise.
What You'll Be Doing:
Leading and mentoring the Workroom team to deliver exceptional service;
Managing workflow, priorities, and team rostering;
Overseeing document production, scanning, binding, mail, and courier services;
Coordinating court filings, external deliveries, and archiving requirements;
Ensuring meeting rooms and shared spaces are prepared and maintained to a high standard;
Liaising with practitioners, courts, service providers, and internal teams;
Supporting reception and general office operations as required; and
Maintaining supplies, equipment, and workplace standards.
About You:
You'll bring previous experience in office services, facilities, administration, or a similar operational support environment, along with the confidence to lead a team and manage competing priorities.
You'll also have:
Strong organisational and time management skills;
A proactive, solutions-focused approach;
The ability to work independently and use initiative;
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
Sound Microsoft Office skills;
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail; and
Flexibility and a willingness to roll up your sleeves when needed.
